This plane has served many roles. Initially designed to train commercial level pilots and flight instructors, it served well for years as a charter plane. Now back in use as a private transportation plane it still is used to train for commercial and flight instructor levels. It has helped deliver medical care to rural Virginia and carry Angel flight passengers. At about 15 miles per gallon the Beech Sierra delivers good fuel efciency along with the ability to carry 4 adults or fly for 6 hours. It makes a few trips a year to the Bahamas as well as the New England Mountains.
